O’Keefe Farms is family owned, and operated by Pat and Kelly O’Keefe. Pat is the fourth generation of family farming this land. The property was originally purchased by Pat’s great, great grandparents, the Brown family in the mid 1800’s.

In the beginning, the family raised turkeys, grew hops, hay and grain, and also milked cows. During the 1970’s, 80’s, and 90’s, the farm produced grass hay and ground grain for local customers to feed their livestock.

When Roy O’Keefe passed away in 2002, the family decided to lease out the land for growing Christmas trees. In 2008, Pat took over the farm, along with his wife Kelly and daughter Savannah. Once the Christmas trees were gone, they decided to grow flowers because they didn’t want to compete with the neighbors, and there was a need for fresh cut flowers in the area.

Each season brings happiness with the decision as so many people say how it just makes their day and puts a smile on their face.

The original barn built in 1881 is still on the property. There are future restoration plans—Stay tuned!

We look forward to your visit to the farm,
